Day 4: Generous Hearts, Growing Church
Reading: Acts 4:32-35
"All the believers were united in heart and mind...they shared everything they had." The early church didn't view possessions as personal property but as resources for God's kingdom. This radical generosity flowed from hearts transformed by the gospel. When we truly grasp that everything we have belongs to God, sharing becomes natural. Notice the result: "God's great blessing was upon them all" and "the apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection." There's a connection between generous community and effective witness. When the world sees believers caring sacrificially for one another, it validates the message we proclaim. Our unity and generosity become visible proof that Jesus is alive and transforms lives.
