This is where resurrection becomes intensely personal. Your old sinful self was crucified with Christ. That means the you enslaved to sin, bound by shame, controlled by destructive patterns—that version of you died on the cross with Jesus. You're not trying to improve your old self; you're living as a new creation. Death no longer has power over Christ, and sin no longer has power over you. This isn't positive thinking—it's resurrection reality. Today, you have a choice: live as though you're still dead in sin, or live in the freedom Christ purchased. Consider yourself dead to sin's power and alive to God. Use your whole body as an instrument for righteousness. Your resurrection day has come.
