Love in Action - Serving The Least Of These

Day 4: Love in Action—Serving the Least of These

Reading: Matthew 25:34-40

Devotional:

Jesus doesn't give us a checklist of religious duties. He calls us to genuine love that flows from surrendered hearts. When we truly follow our Good Shepherd, He leads us to love our neighbors sacrificially—feeding the hungry, welcoming strangers, caring for the sick, visiting prisoners.

This isn't about programs or checking boxes. You can do all these activities without love. True Christian love recognizes people's dignity, helps them belong, and comes alongside them with compassion. It's costly, inconvenient, and Spirit-led. When we love "the least of these," we're actually loving Jesus Himself.

The world should recognize Christians by our extraordinary love and unity, not by our religious activities or moral superiority.

Reflection Question: Am I serving others out of genuine love for Jesus, or just fulfilling religious obligations?
