Making Discipleship Your Life Mission

Day 5: Making Discipleship Your Life Mission

Reading: Luke 24:44-53

Devotional:

When Jesus opened the disciples' minds to understand Scripture, everything clicked. Suddenly, they saw how all of God's story pointed to Jesus—and how they fit into that story. Their response? Worship and joy. The Great Commission isn't a burden to bear; it's a privilege to embrace. Making disciples isn't a church program or side hobby—it's your life mission. Your career, your hobbies, your relationships—these are the contexts where you live out your primary calling: following Jesus and helping others do the same. This requires a mindset shift. You're not a teacher who happens to be Christian; you're a disciple-maker who happens to teach. You're not a parent who squeezes in faith; you're a follower of Jesus raising the next generation of disciples. What would change in your daily routine if you truly made discipleship your life mission?
