Reading: Matthew 25:31-46
Jesus' words are clear: serving "the least of these" is serving Him. But notice the context—this isn't about random acts of charity; it's about Kingdom priorities. The early church helped those in need as part of fulfilling the Great Commission, always pointing people toward Jesus and inviting them into transformative community.
Our helping should advance God's mission. We don't serve to earn salvation or out of guilt, but because we've been transformed by Jesus and want others to experience that same transformation. Every act of service is an opportunity to demonstrate Christ's love and extend an invitation into His family.
The question isn't just "Did I help?" but "Did I help in a way that honored God and pointed people toward Jesus?"
