Day 2: Why Do You Look Among the Dead?
Reading: Luke 24:1-12
Devotional:
"Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?" The angels' question to the women cuts deep. How often do we search for life, hope, and answers in places of death? We look for fulfillment in temporary things, peace in worldless solutions, or identity in lifeless pursuits. The women came expecting to anoint a corpse; instead, they encountered resurrection. Peter ran to verify what sounded like "nonsense"—and discovered truth beyond imagination. Jesus isn't where you left Him in your grief, disappointment, or doubt. He's alive, active, and present. Stop searching among dead things. Turn toward the living Christ who meets you in your confusion and transforms your understanding.
