Day 4: Sustained by Community

Reading: Galatians 6:2-10; Hebrews 10:24-25

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." The Christian life was never meant to be lived in isolation. The early church thrived because believers gathered daily, shared resources sacrificially, and genuinely cared for one another. When we try to serve God alone, we become overwhelmed and ineffective. But when we embrace biblical community—supporting, encouraging, and strengthening one another—we can accomplish far more than we ever could individually. Whether caring for church members or supporting foster families, we multiply our impact through partnership. The body of Christ functions best when every member contributes their unique gifts. Don't underestimate the power of bringing a meal, offering childcare, or simply showing up. Small acts of service, done consistently, transform lives.
