Day 1: The Power of the Spirit

Reading: Acts 4:1-13
Peter and John stood before the religious elite—uneducated fishermen facing scholars and leaders. Yet they spoke with astonishing boldness. The secret? They were filled with the Holy Spirit. Notice the council's observation: these were "ordinary men" who had "been with Jesus." Your qualifications don't determine your effectiveness in God's kingdom; your time with Jesus does. The same Spirit who empowered Peter lives in you. When you feel inadequate to share your faith or serve God's mission, remember:
God qualifies the unqualified. He doesn't need your credentials; He needs your willingness.
Spend time with Jesus today, and let His Spirit fill you with courage to speak His name.
Where do you feel unqualified to serve God? Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and speak through you in that very area.
