Blessed Are Those Who Believe

Day 5: Blessed Are Those Who Believe

Reading: John 20:24-31

Devotional: Thomas wanted proof—to see and touch Jesus' wounds before believing. Jesus graciously provided it, but then said something profound: "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." That's us. We don't get to touch Jesus' scars or see Him walk through walls, yet we're called to believe. John wrote his Gospel so that by reading these testimonies, we might believe and have life in Jesus' name. Faith isn't blind—it's based on testimony, evidence, and the Spirit's witness. What evidence of Jesus do you need today? He knows. He met Thomas's doubt with grace, and He'll meet yours too. But don't let doubt keep you from stepping forward. Believe, and experience the blessing Jesus promised to those who trust without seeing.

Reflection Question for the Week: Can you see Jesus? Not just know about Him, but truly see Him alive and active in your life? Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in the way you need most.
