Day 5: Trusting God's Provision
Reading: Matthew 6:25-34; Philippians 4:19
Generous giving is fundamentally an act of trust. When you give to God first, you're declaring, "I believe You'll provide what I need with what remains." This isn't presumption—it's faith. God promises to care for His children better than He cares for birds and flowers. Yet trusting Him with our finances often reveals where our real security lies. Do we trust bank accounts or our Heavenly Father? The early church gave sacrificially and experienced God's faithful provision. When we put God first financially, we create opportunities to witness His supernatural provision.
If you've never trusted God's faithfulness in giving, start today. Determine an amount that requires faith—something that makes you depend on God—and give it joyfully.
Then watch how He provides.
