Day 4: Church as Family

Reading: Hebrews 10:23-25; Acts 2:42-47

The early church didn't view gathering together as optional—they were devoted to it. They understood something we often miss: we can't love Jesus without loving His bride. Church isn't a spiritual service provider that exists to meet your needs; it's a family you're called to serve and strengthen. When you're absent, someone misses you. When you're discouraged, you need encouragement. When you're gifted, others need your contribution. Forty million Americans have left the church, often because they viewed it as an institution rather than a family.

But Jesus designed us to need each other—to worship together, serve together, and grow together. Don't ghost the family God placed you in.

Today, reach out to a brother or sister in Christ and encourage them in their walk.
