Day 5: Your Mission Field
Reading: Matthew 5:14-16; Ephesians 2:10
"You are the light of the world... let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." God has strategically placed you exactly where you are—your neighborhood, workplace, and community—for a purpose. You are His answer to someone's prayer. The question isn't whether God has a mission for you, but whether you're willing to say yes. Like the early believers who couldn't stop talking about Jesus despite threats, we're called to be "a garden in Manhattan"—bringing life where it seems impossible. Your mission field isn't necessarily across the ocean; it's often right where you are. God has uniquely equipped you with experiences, gifts, and a story that can reach people others cannot.
Today, ask: Lord, what is my mission? How are You calling me to be light in my corner of the world?
