Day 5: Becoming a Healing Community

Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

The early church wasn't just a place where healing happened occasionally; it was a healing community. They prayed together, shared resources, confessed sins to one another, and actively participated in each other's restoration. Paul describes the church as a body where "if one part suffers, every part suffers with it."
God's design for healing includes community. You weren't meant to struggle alone or heal in isolation. The church is called to be a place where people find genuine connection, authentic love, and tangible support.

This week, take practical steps toward becoming part of a healing community. Join a prayer group. Share a need you've been hiding. Reach out to someone who's struggling. Offer to pray with someone face-to-face.

Let people into your brokenness, and step into theirs. When the church functions as God intended—unified, loving, and Spirit-led—it becomes a powerful sign to the world that Jesus is real and actively transforming lives.

Be the church that that helps people find healing and purpose in Jesus.
