We want to move, to act, to do something for God. But sometimes the most obedient thing we can do is wait. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter drew his sword when Jesus needed him to pray. He acted when he should have waited. Are you rushing ahead of God's timing? Are you making your own plans instead of waiting for His direction? Waiting isn't passive—it's active trust. It's believing that God is working even when you can't see it. Today, practice the discipline of waiting. Trust that God's timing is perfect, even when it feels uncomfortable.
