Day 5: The Journey Continues

Reading: Acts 8:40

40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.

Reading: Philippians 1:6

6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Devotional:
Philip's story didn't end with one divine appointment. After baptizing the Ethiopian, he continued preaching town by town until reaching Caesarea. One obedient step led to another, creating a journey of faithfulness.
God's work in your life is ongoing. Yesterday's obedience prepares you for today's assignment. The Ethiopian went home rejoicing, carrying the gospel to Africa. Philip continued northward, impacting countless lives. Both moved forward changed by their encounter.
Your spiritual journey isn't about one dramatic moment—it's about consistent, Spirit-led faithfulness. God is writing a story through your life, one chapter at a time. You may not see the full impact of your obedience, but God is working. That conversation you had, that act of kindness, that moment you shared Jesus—God is multiplying your faithfulness in ways you'll never fully know this side of heaven. Trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. Keep walking, keep obeying, keep sharing Jesus wherever He leads.
