Day 5: Fit Together Perfectly

Reading: Ephesians 4:15-16 — Paul describes how Christ causes the whole body to fit together, with each part doing its own special work so that the body grows and builds itself up in love.
15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Devotional:
The church does not grow because of one gifted leader. It grows because every member does its own special work. This is not a suggestion — it is the design. When any part of the body stops functioning, the whole body is affected. But when every member walks in step with Jesus, utilizing the gifts the Spirit has given, something remarkable happens: the body grows, it strengthens, and it begins to look like the One who is its head. You are not a spectator in this process. You are a participant. God is not waiting for a perfect church before He works through it. He is working through willing, obedient, surrendered people right now. Be one of them.
Are you an active, functioning member of your church body, or have you drifted into the role of observer? What would it look like to take one step toward greater participation?
Identify one specific way you can contribute to your church community this week — whether through serving, encouraging, giving, or simply showing up consistently. Take that step without waiting until you feel fully ready.
