Day 1: God Shows No Favoritism

Reading: Acts 10:34-35

34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.

Reading: Romans 2:11

11 For God does not show favoritism.

Devotional:
Peter's declaration that "God shows no favoritism" revolutionized the early church's understanding of salvation. Like Peter, we sometimes unconsciously categorize people as "in" or "out" based on background, lifestyle, or beliefs. God's vision is radically inclusive—He accepts all who fear Him and do what is right, regardless of their origin. This doesn't mean God ignores sin, but rather that His love extends to every person without prejudice. Today, ask yourself: Who have I unconsciously written off as "unclean" or beyond God's reach? God may be calling you to see someone through His eyes, recognizing that His grace is available to all who seek Him with sincere hearts.
