Sunday's Sermon Preview

Ephesians 3:1–21; 4:1  
Theme: God is building His church into a living display of His wisdom, love, and power.

This Sunday, we’ll continue in Ephesians and reflect on Paul’s words: "When I think of all this…” Paul pauses to look back at the incredible truth that God has made a way for both Jews and Gentiles—people from every background—to become one family in Christ.

We’ll talk about the church not as a building or institution, but as **God’s household**, **Christ’s body**, and **a holy temple** made of living people. In a culture that often emphasizes individual faith apart from community, Ephesians reminds us that God is not just working in “me,” but in **us together**.

We’ll also consider Paul’s circumstances. He writes these words from prison, yet he sees his suffering as part of God’s greater plan. His confidence challenges us to ask: Can we trust God even when our circumstances don’t make sense?

Questions to discuss before Sunday:

- What does it mean that the church is God’s family and His dwelling place?  
- Why do we need other believers in our walk with Jesus?  
- How did God use Paul’s imprisonment for something greater than Paul may have imagined?  
- Do we truly believe God’s love is wide, long, high, and deep?  
- What would it look like to trust God more fully with our lives?

Key reminder:
God is able to do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine, and He is working through His church for His glory.
