The Power Of The Holy Spirit

Day 2: The Power of the Holy Spirit

Reading: Acts 1:1-8

Devotional:

After giving the disciples the most important mission in history, Jesus told them to wait. Imagine their frustration—filled with knowledge, burning with excitement, ready to change the world, yet commanded to stay put. Why? Because zeal without the Spirit leads to burnout and failure. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you," Jesus promised. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead wants to work through you. The Great Commission isn't accomplished through human effort, education, or enthusiasm alone—it requires divine power. Before you rush into your day's activities, pause. Invite the Holy Spirit to lead you. Ask Him to give you His eyes to see opportunities, His words to speak truth, and His power to make an eternal difference. Ministry flows from intimacy with God.
