This powerful message invites us to reconsider what it truly means to be on mission with God. Drawing from Acts 2, we're reminded that after Pentecost, 3,000 people came to faith not because of carefully crafted speeches or strategic planning, but because the Holy Spirit moved in power. The central challenge presented is this: our mission isn't to execute our best-laid plans or replicate someone else's ministry model—it's simply to be led by the Holy Spirit in His power and His way. We're challenged to examine whether we're trying to lead God's mission ourselves or waiting for Him to lead us. Like the disciples who waited ten days in prayer before Pentecost, we're called to a posture of expectant waiting, worship, and surrender. The mission field today looks vastly different than it did in the first century, and the Holy Spirit leads each believer uniquely according to the needs around them. Whether through preaching, personal testimony, acts of service, or simply inviting others into our struggles and showing them how Jesus helps us persevere—the methodology matters less than being Spirit-led. This message calls us to move beyond spiritual passivity and commit to persistent prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to prepare us, lead us, and work through us in His perfect timing.
