Rooted In God's Love
What does it mean to be part of something far greater than ourselves? In Ephesians 3, Paul pauses mid-thought and says 'when I think of all this' — and what follows is a breathtaking reflection on God's mysterious plan for his church. We are not isolated believers stumbling through life on our own. We are living stones being built together into something magnificent — God's own dwelling place on earth. The sermon draws our attention to a truth that Western individualism often causes us to miss: the masterpiece God is crafting is not a solo portrait. It is a collective work, a temple, a body, a family. When we drift away from one another, we are not just missing community — we are missing our place in God's grand design. This is an invitation to reconsider how we see the church, not as an institution to be skeptical of, but as the very means through which God displays his wisdom to the world.
