After having my ultrasound my doctor ordered me a CT scan because of a concerning cyst they were seeing. I just got my results back from my CT. I have a 20cm cyst (which is pretty large) that they are thinking is associated with my ovary but they are still not completely sure. He said that he can’t rule out that it is not cancerous even though the chances of that are slim. He said that I will have to have surgery to have it removed and sooner rather than later because it is close to causing issues with my ureter on that side which could affect my kidney. He is referring me to another doctor who specializes in gyenocologic oncology to have things further evaluated and then removed. I am battling fear because I have never had to have surgery before. Asking for prayer for peace and for a smooth evaluation by this new doctor, smooth surgery and recovery.
