New Life Believers Worship

This powerful message explores what it truly means to remain in Christ's love, drawing from John 15 where Jesus uses the metaphor of the vine and branches. We discover that abiding in His love isn't about earning it through perfect behavior—nothing can separate us from God's love. Instead, it's about choosing to live in that love daily, staying connected to Jesus like branches connected to the vine. The teaching beautifully unpacks how Jesus combined the two greatest commandments—loving God and loving our neighbor—into one revolutionary call to love sacrificially, unconditionally, and without expecting anything in return. This isn't the world's version of love that seeks to make us happy or comfortable. It's a radical, counter-cultural love that mirrors how Christ gave Himself entirely for us. When we love this way, something extraordinary happens: our joy overflows. The connection between love and joy becomes clear—genuine, Christ-like love produces fruit in our lives, and that fruit is joy. We're challenged to examine whether our love truly reflects Jesus, whether we love even those who don't deserve it, even our enemies, even those difficult family members we'll see at Christmas. This kind of love is so transformative that the world will recognize us as Jesus' disciples simply by witnessing how we love one another.
